Vagner Love has expressed his delight at finally completing his move from CSKA Moscow to Flamengo.
Negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing for weeks and it was thought that the deal had collapsed as Flamengo could not match the asking price.
However, a deal was eventually struck - thought to be worth around €10million - and Love could not be happier to return to Flamengo, where he scored 23 goals in 27 games while on loan in 2010.
"It is the best feeling to be back here, a real pleasure," he said. "I wanted to return and now I want to win titles here."
Flamengo vice-president Michel Levy said that Love's desire to return to the club helped make the deal possible.
"The most important thing was the player wanted it," he said to Globoesporte. "He fought for it and was decisive. CSKA did not need to sell him but [the] Flamenho president [Patricia Amorim] was very keen on him and I said I would bring him back."
